As IPL 2026 kicks off, telecom companies are going all in to grab cricket fans’ attention. Jio, Airtel, and Vi have rolled out special prepaid plans bundled with JioHotstar subscriptions, making it easier than ever to stream every match live without paying separately for OTT access.
For users, this means one simple recharge can unlock full IPL action—ball-by-ball—directly on mobile devices.

Jio’s IPL-Focused Plans Lead on Affordability
Reliance Jio has positioned itself aggressively this season with dedicated “Entertainment Packs” tailored for IPL viewers.
The standout option is the ₹500 plan, offering 2GB daily data, unlimited calls, and JioHotstar access for 28 days. It’s a straightforward pick for users who want coverage just for the IPL window without committing long-term.
Jio is also bundling added value. Its ₹3,599 annual plan gives 2.5GB daily data with a full-year JioHotstar subscription, targeting heavy data users. Meanwhile, a ₹103 add-on pack includes 5GB data along with access to multiple OTT platforms like Sony LIV and ZEE5.
Airtel Bundles IPL Streaming via Xstream Premium
Bharti Airtel is taking a slightly different route by integrating JioHotstar into its Xstream Premium ecosystem.
The ₹1,199 plan offers 2.5GB daily data for 84 days, along with bundled OTT access that includes IPL streaming. This plan is designed for users who prefer a mix of entertainment beyond cricket.
There’s also a smaller ₹149 add-on that provides 1GB data plus 30 days of Xstream Premium access—useful for users who already have an active base plan.
Vi Targets Long-Term OTT Viewers
Vodafone Idea (Vi) is focusing on longer validity plans through its Vi Movies & TV Super platform, which acts as a gateway to JioHotstar.
Its ₹903 plan delivers 2GB daily data, unlimited calling, and IPL streaming benefits for 90 days. For annual users, the ₹3,099 plan includes 2GB daily data with year-long access to JioHotstar.
Additionally, Vi offers a ₹202 add-on pack with 5GB data and OTT access for 30 days.

Which Plan Should You Choose?
If your goal is simple—watch IPL without spending extra—Jio’s ₹500 plan stands out as the most budget-friendly and direct option.
However, if you’re someone who watches OTT content year-round, Airtel and Vi’s longer-duration plans offer better overall value with extended validity and broader entertainment bundles.
What Users Should Keep in Mind
While these plans look attractive, telecom offerings often change quietly. Users are advised to verify details on official apps or websites before recharging.
With IPL 2026 already underway, the competition among telecom operators is not just on the field—but also in your recharge options.
