A Delhi-based attorney(lawyer) filed a complaint with Delhi Police commissioner Sanjay Arora on Friday accusing Aamir Khan, Paramount Pictures, and other individuals of “disrespecting the Indian Army and harming Hindu emotions” in Lal Singh Chadha.

The Reason for the Boycott
The boycott started as the movie has a plot affecting Indians sentiments. It shows “a mentally handicapped person joining the armed forces and participating in the Kargil War”. It is a well-known fact that “the best army personnel were sent to fight in the Kargil war. Only the well-trained army personnel fought in the war. However, the movie makers purposefully portrayed the said situation to demoralise and discredit the Indian army.”

However, it is believed that Naga Chaitanya’s presence made “Lal Singh Chaddha’s” work in the South. But Aamir Khan’s plan also fell short. However, Lal Singh Chaddha’s was unable to cross even with the South stars. Tamil and Telugu versions of the movie also performed poorly at the box office.
