Mahindra XEV 9S New Teaser Reveals Premium Features Ahead of November 27 Debut

Mahindra has dropped a fresh teaser for the upcoming XEV 9S, and this one gives a much clearer peek into the SUV’s premium, tech-loaded cabin. Set for its global debut on November 27 at the brand’s ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru, the XEV 9S is all set to become Mahindra’s first all-electric seven-seater based on the INGLO skateboard platform.

A closer look at the cabin

The new teaser shines a spotlight on the SUV’s lounge-style interior. Mahindra seems to be going all out with comfort and luxury here, offering soft-touch materials, redesigned door pads, and toggle-style switches for the power windows. A Harman Kardon sound system—seen in Mahindra’s higher-end EVs—adds to the premium feel.

The feature list continues with a power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory, ventilated seats, and multi-zone climate control. Both first and second rows get sliding and reclining seats, giving the XEV 9S serious family-friendly flexibility.

Triple-screen dashboard and connected tech

Mahindra is sticking to its digital-first approach. The XEV 9S gets a triple-display setup with a fully digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen, and a dedicated passenger display. There’s also a flat-bottom steering wheel with an illuminated Mahindra logo, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof that spans almost the entire roof.

Expected tech features include wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and seven airbags—making it one of the most loaded EV cabins in its segment.

Battery, performance, and range

Powering the XEV 9S will likely be the 59kWh and 79kWh LFP battery packs already used in the XEV 9e and BE 6. While those models come with a single-motor layout, Mahindra may introduce a dual-motor AWD variant for the 9S, giving it more performance punch. A real-world range of over 500 km per charge and ultra-fast DC charging support are also expected.

Mahindra’s most premium EV yet

Positioned above the XEV 9e, the XEV 9S will be Mahindra’s most premium all-electric SUV, combining space, luxury, and advanced tech. Expected pricing is likely to fall between ₹22 lakh and ₹35 lakh (ex-showroom), effectively placing it as India’s first mainstream seven-seater electric SUV.

With the debut just days away, the excitement around the 9S is clearly building—and this new teaser only adds to the buzz.
