Shruti Haasan is frequently seen spending quality time with her lover Santanu Hazarika, and she has never been shy about publicly addressing their relationship. While their closeness has frequently piqued spectators’ interest in their marriage, Haasan stresses that they have “no plans as of now.”
“The term marriage terrifies me. I don’t want to think about it since there is so much to it. “I’m happy to be with him, to be doing good work in collaboration with him, and to be having fun with him,” she says, swiftly asking, “Isn’t it better than most marriages?”

Haasan discusses her relationship with excitement, saying she is really pleased with Hazarika. She describes the two’s relationship as “unconventional,” adding, “Santanu and I live a very unconventional life.” We do not adhere to societal conventions. We don’t care if others approve or disapprove of our decision not to marry. I don’t see any problem as long as we’re best friends, nice to one other, and respect each other.”
Haasan goes on to explain how the two support each other in both happy and sad moments. “In difficult times, we are there for each other and support each other.” It helps to have someone to talk to when you’re struggling. It’s preferable to cope with everything on your own. “I can’t think of anything better than what we have.”
Haasan and Hazarika have also collaborated on the former’s current single through their production company. “We worked together to create Monster Machine, and it was a great experience for both of us,” she recalls of their working relationship. While we are both diligent at work, there is a significant contrast in our personalities. I’m constantly on the go…always impatient and wanting to get things done right away. However, he is quite calm and peaceful in this manner. I’m always panicking, and he’s always trying to calm me down. “We kind of balance each other out,” Haasan explains.
