The PS5 Pro CPU is expected to retain the AMD Zen 2 architecture but with a top frequency of 4.4GHz. According to reports, the console would prioritize three technologies: rapid storage, enhanced ray tracing, and upscaling. Users may anticipate 16GB DDR6 memory with 576GB/s bandwidth to enable this.

According to the user, Sony intends to achieve consistent upscaled 4K output with over 30 frames per second on the PS5 Pro. The expected release date is September 2024, which is two months sooner than the previously predicted November 2024 release date.

When asked about the accuracy of the leak, Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson answered that he couldn’t comment on other people’s disclosures. However, he stated that Sony internally anticipates complete specifications leaking this month as a result of dev kit release to third-party companies.

Having said that, it should be remembered that Sony has yet to confirm or deny the existence of the PS5 Pro. As a result, any information on the console’s release should be treated with a grain of salt.

Sony unveils the new PS5.

While Sony has not confirmed the existence of the PS5 Pro, it has confirmed the release of the PS5 Slim last month.

Sony announced the new PS5 in a blog post, and that’s all players across the world can speak about. According to Sid Shuman, Senior Director, SIE Content Communications, the new PS5 was designed “to address the evolving needs of players.”

The new console’s volume has been lowered by 30%, and it is also lighter than the original PS5. There have also been obvious design alterations.

Instead of two cover panels, there are now four (two on each side). Another visible difference is the addition of a bulge on the side that houses the disc drive. Furthermore, the disk drive may be removed and changed. There is also a digital version available that does not include the disk drive.

Aside from that, the PS5’s front panel will now include two USB Type-C connectors rather of the normal USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports.

A horizontal stand for the PS5 will be supplied in the package. However, if you want a vertical stand, you will have to pay an extra fee because it is now offered separately. Sony included a single stand that could be changed into both a vertical and horizontal stand with the PS5, which was released in 2020.
