Tata Curvv and Curvv EV Get Executive-Level Upgrades
Tata Motors has quietly stepped up its game with the Curvv and Curvv EV — both now loaded with new luxury touches that make the SUV-coupe feel even more premium. The best part? Prices haven’t gone up.
The Tata Curvv ICE still starts at ₹14.55 lakh, while the Curvv EV begins at ₹18.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new additions come to the Accomplished trim in the ICE version and both the Accomplished and Empowered variants of the EV. Deliveries have already started across dealerships in India.
What’s New Inside the Curvv
Tata has focused heavily on comfort and convenience this time around. The Curvv and Curvv EV now feature India’s first R-Comfort seats with passive ventilation, along with Serenity Screen rear sunshades and EasySip cup docks on the rear armrest — perfect for long drives.
Adding to the premium vibe, there’s a TwinZone Climate Concierge system that lets front passengers set their own cooling preferences. The EV version goes a step further with a PureComfort rear co-passenger footrest and ErgoWing headrest, making the backseat experience feel more like a business-class lounge.
The cabin now wears a white carbon fibre dashboard finish and new Lalitpur Grey Benecke-Kaliko leatherette seats, giving it a lighter, more elegant look.
Design and Tech: Smart Meets Stylish
Both versions of the Curvv come with a long list of high-end features — a voice-activated panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, gesture-controlled powered tailgate, and a 12.3-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system paired with a 9-speaker JBL setup.
Tata’s in-house Arcade.ev suite is also onboard, giving access to a range of connected car apps and entertainment options.
Built on Tata’s ATLAS platform, the Curvv ICE offers solid handling and ride comfort, while the Curvv EV uses the brand’s modern acti.ev architecture, ensuring a smooth and quiet electric drive. Both boast a large 500-litre boot — impressive for a coupe-style SUV.
Safety and Performance
Safety is another big highlight. The Curvv recently earned a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, making it one of the safest SUVs in its class. It’s equipped with Level 2 ADAS technology, which includes advanced driver assistance systems like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and more.
Under the hood, the Curvv ICE comes with two engine options — a 1.2L turbo petrol (118 bhp/170 Nm) and a 1.5L diesel (116 bhp/260 Nm). Both are paired with 6-speed manual and DCT automatic gearbox choices.
The Curvv EV, on the other hand, gets 45 kWh and 55 kWh battery packs, delivering 147 bhp and 164 bhp respectively, with a healthy 210 Nm of torque.
