Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) had a strong festive season in October 2025, posting a sharp 43% year-on-year growth—largely powered by its Maruti Suzuki–derived models and the ever-reliable Innova range. With Diwali demand peaking and lower GST rates benefiting buyers, the company delivered 40,257 units last month, up from 28,138 units in October 2024.
Innova Remains King, But Maruti-Based Models Drive Bigger Volume
The Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross together brought in 11,089 units, marking a healthy 25% YoY growth. The MPV continues to hold its position as Toyota’s most influential nameplate, especially among large families and fleet buyers.
But the real game-changer this time was the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The SUV, sharing its underpinnings with the Maruti Grand Vitara, saw dem
and skyrocket by 112%, reaching 11,555 units—its strongest tally yet.

Glanza, Taisor, Rumion See Big Gains
Toyota’s rebadged Maruti trio continued to be major volume contributors:
- Glanza: 6,162 units (↑44%)
- Taisor: 4,561 units (↑48%)
- Rumion: 3,075 units (↑42%)
These models have hit the sweet spot with Indian buyers thanks to strong fuel economy, competitive pricing, and the trust associated with Toyota’s after-sales network.
Fortuner Slips, Hilux Shows Small Uptick
Surprisingly, the Toyota Fortuner—usually the brand’s star performer—was the only model to dip. It recorded 2,920 units, down 21% from last year. With rising competition and higher pricing, the slowdown isn’t entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, the Hilux posted a modest 10% growth with 377 units, showing consistent though niche demand.
Camry, Vellfire & Land Cruiser 300 Impress in CBU Line-up
Toyota’s CBU (imported) models also had a strong month:
- Camry Hybrid: 276 units (↑57%)
- Vellfire: 168 units (↑46%)
- Land Cruiser 300: 74 units (first recorded month**
The LC300’s 74-unit jump is noteworthy since Toyota couldn’t deliver a single unit in October 2024 due to supply constraints.
