TVS Motor Company has once again turned heads at the Rann Utsav 2026, unveiling a striking line-up of handcrafted special edition motorcycles inspired by the surreal beauty of the Rann of Kutch. Built as concept showcases in partnership with Gujarat Tourism, these motorcycles blend art, culture and motorcycling into one bold statement. There are no production plans yet—but they’ve definitely sparked conversation.
Celebrating Kutch Through Motorcycles
For the second straight year, TVS has collaborated with Gujarat Tourism to mark its presence at the iconic Rann Utsav. Instead of launching a new bike, the company chose to reinterpret its popular models through the lens of Kutch’s landscape and heritage.
The focus is clear: design storytelling. Mechanically, all models remain unchanged from their standard versions. The transformation is entirely visual and thematic.
Four Apache & Ronin Models Reimagined
The special edition line-up includes four well-known models:
- TVS Apache RR 310
- TVS Apache RTR 310
- TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
- TVS Ronin
Each motorcycle features hand-painted body panels inspired by the white salt flats, soft desert hues and dramatic evening skies of the Rann. The colour transitions are subtle yet artistic—ranging from salt white to sky blue with earthy undertones.
To make them stand out from regular showroom models, TVS has added bespoke laser-cut stainless-steel ‘ROK’ badges on the fuel tanks. The seats are fully custom as well, drawing cues from traditional Kutch embroidery and textile patterns. The detailing feels thoughtful rather than flashy.
Ronin “Unscripted Exploration” Goes a Step Further
Apart from the four art-focused editions, TVS also showcased a specially modified Ronin called “Unscripted Exploration.”
This one isn’t just about aesthetics. It gets dual-purpose tyres for mixed terrain, a redesigned front mudguard and a reinforced rear rack built to support luggage systems—making it more adventure-ready than the standard model.
The design theme continues with Ajrak-inspired patterns, camel-toned hand-stitched elements and a gradient paint finish that visually mirrors the endless desert horizon. It feels rugged, yet refined.

Concept Today, Inspiration for Tomorrow?
TVS has confirmed that these motorcycles are purely concept showcases at this stage, with no immediate plans for commercial launch. However, such builds often hint at future limited editions or official accessory packs.
With Indian buyers increasingly drawn towards personalised and lifestyle-oriented motorcycles, this move reflects TVS’ broader strategy—offering not just machines, but experiences.
For now, these Rann of Kutch editions remain exclusive showpieces at the festival. But if the public response is strong enough, don’t be surprised if some of these design ideas eventually make their way to production models.
