Elon Musk has stated that entering X.com would take users to the new Twitter.
The Twitter bird has finally taken flight. The X logo has replaced the classic Twitter bird on the site. Musk made the announcement about the new logo over the weekend and changed the design within hours. The new logo is currently visible in the top left corner of the Twitter main page. The loading icon has also been replaced with an X.
Elon Musk has verified that entering X.com will take you to the new Twitter. However, Twitter.com remains the principal domain for the website. Twitter’s new logo was crowdsourced by Elon Musk. It was obtained from the Twitter account of Sawyer Merritt. The new logo is also shown beside the names of the company’s workers, including CEO Linda Yaccarino.Â
Yaccarino reveals what the business intends to achieve with the platform, which is not limited to microblogging. “X” is the future state of unrestricted interaction, according to Yaccarino, “centered in audio, messaging, video, payments/banking, and creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services, and opportunities.” X, powered by AI, will connect us all in ways we can only begin to comprehend.”

Origins of the X
The beginnings of the brand X.com are not novel. In reality, the paths trace back to Elon Musk’s early days as an entrepreneur. The company was founded in 1999 and was subsequently renamed PayPal. After selling the PayPal brand, Musk became a fortune. In the year 2022, Elon Musk announced his ambitions to start X Corp. Twitter was found to be controlled by a firm called X Corp in May. The next natural step was rebranding, which is underway.
