According to police, Bengaluru CEO Suchana Seth allegedly killed her four-year-old son at an apartment in North Goa’s Candolim. He packed his body in a bag before taking it to neighboring Karnataka in a taxi, after which she was arrested in Chitradurga on Monday night and returned to Goa the next day.
The chief executive officer of The Mindful AI Lab has been in police detention for six days, but investigators have failed to determine the motivation for the murder. However, the accused has denied any role in the killing, claiming that the kid had died when she awoke from her slumber.

On Wednesday, Goa Police claimed the murder of Seth’s four-year-old kid appeared premeditated since they discovered two empty bottles of cough syrup in the room where the accused allegedly killed her son, indicating that she may have given the dead a high amount of the drug.Â
According to the authorities, Seth was submitted to psychiatric testing to analyze her mental state and determine the cause of the heinous murder.
A senior police officer told PTI that a post-mortem had been done and that the victim may have been suffocated to death with a piece of fabric or a pillow, but there were no signs of a fight.
“We are investigating if the lady administered a large dosage of cough medication to the youngster before to his death. “It looks like a premeditated murder,” the officer stated, adding that the accused attempted suicide by slicing her left wrist.
“Further inquiry will show why the youngster was killed. As of now, we know she and her spouse were estranged, which might explain why she did this,” police said.Â
