According to information provided by local police and fire services from the Pune City and the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority, the event occurred approximately 8.30 p.m. in the Navale Bridge region. In response, rescue vans and ambulances have been dispatch.
“Primary evidence reveals that a tanker went on to hit at least 45 vehicles following a suspected brake failure,” stated Fire Officer Sujit Patil of the PMRDA fire brigade. Citizens have evacuated injured people from the damaged automobiles to local hospitals. We do not yet know the number of injured people or the nature of their injuries. The fire department’s rescue teams and ambulances have arrived and begun a relief effort.”
