According to information provided by local police and fire services from the Pune City and the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority, the event occurred approximately 8.30 p.m. in the Navale Bridge region. In response, rescue vans and ambulances have been dispatch.

“Primary evidence reveals that a tanker went on to hit at least 45 vehicles following a suspected brake failure,” stated Fire Officer Sujit Patil of the PMRDA fire brigade.
