PhonePe launched cashback discounts on 24K gold for the Dhanteras and Diwali 2023 festival seasons on Monday, November 6. Customers who buy at least ₹1,000 worth of digital gold from PhonePe can get up to ₹3,000 in guaranteed payback, according to the business.
From November 9 to 12, 2023, this promotion is available for all one-time transactions (one per user).
“Over 1 crore customers from 19,000+ postal codes in India have purchased high purity 24K gold at transparent prices on the PhonePe platform.” Customers may acquire certified 24K gold digitally with no making costs and benefit from free storage in insured bank-grade gold lockers,” the company stated.
Aside from one-time purchases, PhonePe claims to enable any Indian to invest in gold digitally through systematic investment plans (SIPs), allowing clients to invest long-term methodically.

Here’s a step-by-step approach to taking advantage of this cashback offer while purchasing gold on PhonePe:
Step 1: On the PhonePe app homepage, tap ‘Wealth’ in the bottom strip.
Step 2: On the Wealth screen, click the ‘Gold’ button.
Step 3: Click the “Buy One Time” button.
Step 4: Select “Buy in rupees” and enter a minimum of ₹1,000 in 24K gold.
Step 5: Review the final details of your gold transaction and click the ‘Proceed to Pay’ button.
