Lava, an Indian smartphone manufacturer, has planned to introduce new handsets in several niches in 2023. However, the business has maintained its focus on entry-level affordable smartphones with decent cameras, design, and 5G connection. Lava announced its latest entry-level 5G smartphone, the Lava Blaze 2 5G, in India on Wednesday, with pricing beginning at Rs 9,999.

Price of the Lava Blaze 2 5G in India

Lava has released the Blaze Pro 5G in two variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Both models include expandable RAM that can be increased up to 1TB. The phone comes in three distinct colors: Glass Black, Glass Blue, and Glass Lavender.

From November 9, the Lava Blaze 2 5G will be available for purchase on Amazon.in and Lavamobiles.com.

The Lava Blaze 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 Processor, runs Android 13 with a planned upgrade to Android 14, and comes with two years of quarterly security updates. A 5000mAh battery powers the phone and supports 18W rapid charging via Type-C.

The Blaze 2 5G comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS punch-hole display with a 2.5D curved screen and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It incorporates a side fingerprint sensor for increased security and convenience, as well as anonymous auto-call recording.

The Lava Blaze 2 5G has a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera with a screen light for snapping selfies. The smartphone also has a built-in camera with modes such as Film, Slow Motion, Timelapse, GIF, UHD, Beauty, HDR, Night, Portrait, AI, Pro, Panorama, Filters, and Intelligent Scanning.

Lava also offers ‘free servicing at home,’ which is a doorstep service for Lava devices that are still under warranty. Users can use this service by visiting the official website.

Previously, in September, Lava released the updated Blaze Pro 5G for Rs 12,499 for the lone 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option. It also has a color-changing rear panel and is available in two color options. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 CPU, runs Android 13, and has 128GB of storage and 8GB of extendable RAM. The phone has a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities.
