“We received a call from the flat’s neighbors, where Mahajani resided alone, informing us of a foul odor coming from his house.” “We went to the location and broke open the door of the flat, where he was discovered dead,” stated a senior officer from Talegaon Dabhade police station.
“It is suspected that he died 3 days ago,” he stated. According to the police source, Mahajani, who has a home in Mumbai, has been staying in Talegaon Dabhade for the last eight months.
According to authorities, his deadly remains were sent to a hospital for a post-mortem examination. Since the late 1970s to the mid-1980s, Mahajani appeared in various Marathi films.
As an actor, he has been in films such as “Zunj,” “Kalat Nakalat.” and “Mumbaicha Fauzdar,” Gashmeer Mahajani, his son, is also an actor well-recognized for his work in Marathi films.
