Stock Market Holiday: No Trading on March 31 for Eid-ul-Fitr

The Indian stock market remains closed today, Monday, March 31, in observance of Eid-ul-Fitr. Both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have suspended trading as per their holiday calendars. Along with equities, the currency derivatives segment is also closed for the day.

However, the commodity derivatives segment will resume operations in the evening session, opening at 5:00 PM and continuing until 11:30 PM or 11:55 PM.

Market Reopens on April 1

Regular trading across equity, currency, and derivatives markets will resume on Tuesday, April 1. Investors can plan their trading strategies accordingly as markets reopen post the holiday break.
