According to Canadian intelligence, Sukhdool Singh aka Sukha Duneke of the Davinder Bambiha gang from Moga district was killed in an inter-gang conflict on Wednesday night. According to unconfirmed accounts, he was slain in Winnipeg, Canada. This is identical to the June 19 inter-gang killing of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey. Nijjar was shot 15 times by his adversaries.

According to sources, Duneke moved to Canada from India in 2017 on falsified documents and is the subject of seven criminal proceedings.

There are at least 29 criminals from the Punjab region and others who are seeking refuge outside of India to avoid prosecution. They previously fled India on Indian passports, using falsified travel documents, or via the Nepal route. Leading the pack of countries that have provided sanctuary to these killers is Canada, which has now accused India of the political assassination of a Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) member, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, without providing substantive evidence.
