Tata Motors has launched reservations for the Tiago CNG AMT and the Tigor CNG AMT for a nominal fee of Rs 21,000. This is the first time a manufacturer has used automatic manual transmission (AMT) in CNG vehicles.
The Tiago CNG AMT is available in three variants: XTA, XZA+, and XZA NRG, whereas the Tigor CNG AMT has two variants: XZA+ CNG and XZA CNG.

Tata Motors’ CNG vehicles feature twin cylinders located in the boot underneath the baggage compartment to save up room. They receive a single sophisticated electronic control unit and may begin operating in CNG mode right now.
The Tiago and Tigor have the identical 1.2-litre petrol engine. It produces 86PS and 113Nm in petrol mode, and 73.4PS and 95Nm in CNG mode. Both petrol and CNG variants now include 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmissions.
Tata Motors has also launched new color options, including Tornado Blue for the Tiago, Grassland Beige for the Tiago NRG, and Meteor Bronze for the Tigor.
The firm provides CNG options in four models: Tiago, Altroz, Tigor, and Punch.
