UP Board High School & Intermediate Exam Evaluation Begins
The evaluation process for Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) High School and Intermediate exam answer sheets has officially begun at Chitrakoot Inter College, Karwi. This crucial assessment phase will continue until April 3, ensuring accurate and fair evaluation of students’ performance.
Strict Guidelines for Evaluators
District School Inspector Santosh Kumar Mishra has issued strict instructions to all examiners involved in the evaluation process. He emphasized that students’ futures depend on accurate assessment, making it essential to check answer sheets with complete diligence.
- No mobile phones allowed during evaluation.
- Marks cannot be altered based on notes found inside answer sheets.
- Use of red ink for marking scores clearly.
- No overwriting or errors in individual question scores or total marks.
- Proper documentation to ensure transparency in the evaluation process.

Massive Evaluation Process in Place
Deputy Controller Dr. Ranveer Singh Chauhan provided insights into the scale of the evaluation:
- High School: 68,448 answer sheets.
- Intermediate: 72,400 answer sheets.
- 200 examiners for High School and 180 for Intermediate appointed.
- Additional reserve examiners available for backup.
- High School evaluations divided into 33 teams, while Intermediate has 32 teams.
- Each team operates under the supervision of a Deputy Head Examiner, with assistant examiners managing individual answer sheets.

The UP Board has implemented these strict measures to maintain accuracy and prevent errors in result calculation. Examiners must adhere to all rules, ensuring fairness and transparency in the marking process.
