Here’s how it works:
- Total Players: 78 will go under the hammer
- Teams Involved: Six – Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriorz
- Maximum Squad Size: 18 players
- Minimum Squad Size: 14 players
- Overseas Limit: Max 6 per squad
- Local Players: At least 5 UAE players per team
This setup makes sure teams balance local talent with global stars.
The Money Talk: Team Purse
Each team gets USD 1.5 million (around ₹12 crore) to spend. That’s not IPL-level cash, but enough to spark bidding wars—especially for marquee names.
