Nothing introduces its second smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2), with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU and a starting price of $45,000. The phone has an 80% improvement in performance over its predecessor in terms of battery life, performance, and cameras.
Nothing, helmed by Carl Pei, has officially launched its second smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2). The Phone (2) is equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU and will be available starting July 21 on Flipkart and select other retail channels.

In terms of battery life, day-to-day performance, and cameras, the Phone (2) significantly outperforms its predecessor. The Phone (2) replaces the Snapdragon 778G CPU with a more powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and Adreno 730 GPU. Nothing promises that the CPU update would result in an 80 percent increase in Phone (2) performance over the previous model.
Nothing Phone (2) has a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor with a sensor size of 1/1.56-inch. The primary sensor supports optical and electronic image stabilization (OIS and EIS), as well as many additional functions such as Motion Photo, Super-res Zoom, AI scene identification, Expert mode, and Document Mode.Â
The Phone (2)’s main sensor is combined with a 50 MP f/2.2 Samsung JN1 sensor ultra-wide-angle camera with EIS and a 114-degree field of view. The new smartphone features a 32 MP Sony IMX615 sensor with an aperture of f/2.45 and a sensor size of 1/2.74 inch on the front.
Nothing Phone (2) has a 4700 mAh battery with 45W PPS charging, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 in about 55 minutes. The Phone (2) also includes significant improvements to the Glyph interface as well as a new Nothing OS 2.0 that ‘allows interactions with your smartphone to be more purposeful and attentive’.

Nothing Phone (2) will be available for a starting price of Rs. 44,999 on Flipkart and in select retail stores beginning July 21. The new smartphone will be priced at 44,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model. Similarly, the 12 GB RAM/128 GB storage model costs 49,999, while the 12 GB RAM/256 GB storage variant costs 54,999.

Pre-order pass purchasers will be able to select their phone version and submit their order on Flipkart between July 11, 9 PM and July 20, 11:59 PM. They will also be eligible for a 3,000 immediate discount if they use Axis or HDFC bank debit or credit cards. AlsoÂ
