Dazzling Performance and National Anthem Moment
Fans can also look forward to an emotional start — Sunidhi Chauhan will sing the Indian national anthem, while South African artist Tarynn Bank from Cape Town will perform her country’s anthem.
Adding to the spectacle, the mid-innings break will feature 350 mass performers, a laser light show, and a stunning drone display that will illuminate the Navi Mumbai skyline.
Sunidhi shared her excitement, saying,
“It’s an honour to be performing at the Women’s World Cup. With India in the final and a stadium full of fans, I know the energy will be electric. It’s going to be a day we’ll all remember.”
A Journey from “Mast” to the World Stage
Sunidhi Chauhan’s story is pure inspiration. She began her career at just 13 years old, making waves with her breakout hit “Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi” from Mast. Her journey took off after winning India’s first televised singing competition Meri Aawaz Suno, judged by the legendary Lata Mangeshkar.
Since then, she’s sold over 50 million records, appeared four times on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list, and even opened for Coldplay in New York back in 2015 — a rare feat for any Indian artist.
