Twinkle Khanna responded wittyly to a query from husband-actor Akshay Kumar during her book launch. Welcome to Paradise is the title of her new book. Akshay, who was present at the occasion, questioned her if males are ‘irrelevant’ because the main characters in Twinkle’s novel are women.

On Saturday, Twinkle offered a sneak peek of the event portion and revealed her response to people who may be feeling the same way. “All the main characters are all women,” Akshay Kumar inquired. So I simply want to know whether males are irrelevant,” he said, leaving the audience giggling. Twinkle responded by comparing males to dessert.

The book launch was held at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End. Karan Johar, along with Akshay Kumar, attended. Welcome to Paradise is a collection of women-centered stories about love, marriage, loneliness, and other life issues.
