Udhhav vs Shinde: The Bombay High Court today struck a severe blow to the Eknath Shinde faction of the Shiv Sena by allowing the Uddhav Thckeray-led Shiv Sena to hold a Dussehra rally in Mumbai’s renowned Shivaji Park. The court refused the Shinde faction’s request to postpone rendering a ruling on the petition until the claim to the party problem was settled.
Due to law and order concerns raised by the Mumbai Police, the Shiv Sena group led by Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde had previously been denied permission by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to hold a protest for Dussehra in the iconic Shivaji Park. When the Thackeray group appealed the BMC decision, the Shinde group asked for assistance.i8798
The BMC order, according to the court, was “clearly a misuse of the law and bona fide.”
The petitioners, the Thackeray-led Shiv Sena, were, according to Sada Sarvankar, a Dadar MLA and member of the Shinde group, seeking to claim the party under the pretence of the current lawsuit.
The verdict was praise by the Thackeray-led Shiv Sena, which also expresse happiness that the judiciary has upheld. The gathering this year, according to party spokeswoman Manisha Kayande, will be spectacular.
She argued that there was probably some pressure on the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), which had rejected the approval.
“Our confidence in the legal system is confirm. For many years, the Dussehra celebration has taken place at “Shiv-tirtha,” as the Sena calls Shivaji Park, but this year, the Shinde group and the BJP attempted to erect obstacles. Thankfully, the court dismissed it, “said Sena secretary Vinayak Raut.
The Shiv Sena has organised a rally on Dussehra each year since 1966. This year’s demonstration is notable since Sena is now split into two sections and it was postponed in 2020 and 2021 because to the Covid-19 epidemic.
In an attack on Mr. Shinde in August, Uddhav Thackeray claim that the party was uncertain as to whether it will be grant permission for the event. Mr. Thackeray went on to say that he will have a Dussehra protest at Shivaji Park regardless of what happened.
Udhhav vs Shinde: How will Celebration happen now ?
The Shiv Sena’s Dussehra celebration will take place in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park. Shiv Sainiks from all around the state will attend this ceremony. We are unaware of these technical aspects, such as whether or not the government would provide authorization. There will be a rally. We don’t care if other people want to protest or not. Shiv Sainiks’ blood, not that of traitors, has give rise to the Shiv Sena “Speaking to party members, Mr. Thackeray had said. He is expect to give a key speech regarding the developments in Maharashtra during the event, which will take place on October 5.
The dissident group, led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Shinde, has already received permission for the assembly to take place at the Bandra Kurla Complex Ground.
