Telusu Kada’ heads to OTT sooner than expected
After a short theatrical journey, Siddu Jonnalagadda’s romantic drama Telusu Kada is now making its way to the digital world. The film, which hit theatres on October 17, didn’t quite light up the box office, prompting the makers to push up its OTT release date.
As per reports, Telusu Kada will premiere on Netflix on November 13, earlier than its initial late-November schedule. This move comes after the film’s mixed response from audiences and critics alike.

Why the early OTT release?
The film struggled to pull crowds despite its strong star lineup — Siddu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty. Directed by Neeraja Kona, marking her directorial debut, Telusu Kada was expected to perform better, especially with its appealing cast and romantic storyline.
However, the box office collections told a different story. The movie reportedly managed to earn around ₹8.18 crore in its first week, with only moderate traction from Telugu audiences.
What’s Telusu Kada about?
The film explores a heartfelt love triangle where a young man finds himself caught between two women, leading him to question his relationships, family ties, and personal choices. The story’s emotional core and introspective tone make it stand out from typical mainstream romances.
According to IMDb, Telusu Kada’s plot “focuses on love, identity, and emotional dilemmas,” giving it a more soulful edge compared to high-energy romantic entertainers.

Audience reactions and IMDb rating
Viewers have had mixed reactions to the film. While some praised the performances and emotional depth, others felt the pacing and screenplay lacked punch. On IMDb, Telusu Kada currently holds a 6.1 rating, reflecting its average reception.
Still, for fans of romantic dramas with emotional storytelling, Telusu Kada could make for a thoughtful weekend watch once it lands on Netflix.
