While everyone was expecting Pari’s elder cousin Priyanka Chopra to attend the wedding, she decided not to. Madhu Chopra, Priyanka’s mother, has now explained why the actress was unable to attend the wedding in India.

Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra married in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in front of several high-profile figures from the film and political worlds.

Madhu Chopra, Priyanka Chopra’s mother, also attended Parineeti’s wedding. PeeCee, on the other hand, was unable to accompany her. As paparazzi photographed Madhu at the airport, they inquired about the actress’ absence. Madhu responded, “Wo kam kar rahe the (She was busy with work).” When asked how she liked the wedding, she replied, “very good.” Another photographer asked her to explain how stunning Parineeti looked in her wedding gown. “Vaise hi khubsoorat hai, aur achi lag rahi thi,” Madhu replied, “she is pretty anyway, so she was looking even more beautiful.”

According to a source, Priyanka Chopra tried to rearrange her schedule and had a plan in place to attend the wedding, but she was unable to do so owing to last-minute commitments.

PARINEETI AND RAGHAV MARRY

On September 24, Parineeti and Raghav Chadha married in Udaipur in the company of close relatives and friends. The wedding was attended by prominent figures such as Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The groom’s family stayed at The Taj Palace, while the bride’s family stayed at The Leela Palace. The groom arrived by boat, and the pair married on September 24 in the afternoon.
