Bison Hits Theatres This Diwali
Dhruv Vikram’s Bison is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on October 17, right in time for the festive Diwali weekend. Directed by the acclaimed Mari Selvaraj, known for films like Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan, the movie is said to be a hard-hitting sports drama exploring themes of perseverance, struggle, and triumph.
The film features an impressive cast including Anupama Parameswaran, Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, and Kalaiyarasan in pivotal roles.
Bison on OTT: Where and When to Watch
Even before its release, Bison has been creating buzz not only for its powerful trailers but also for its OTT release deal. As per industry reports, the streaming rights of the film have been bagged by Netflix.
The Dhruv Vikram-starrer is expected to arrive on the platform four weeks after its theatrical run, which means fans can expect it to stream sometime in mid-November 2025. However, an official OTT release date has not yet been announced by the makers or the streaming giant.

Dhruv Vikram Calls Bison His “First Film”
In an interesting revelation, Dhruv Vikram said he considers Bison to be his “real debut”, despite having acted in Aditya Varma and Mahaan.
At a recent promotional event in Chennai, he said,
“I’ve acted in two films so far, but even if you haven’t seen them, that’s okay. You must watch Bison. I see this as my first real film.”
His statement reflects the actor’s fresh start and his belief in the emotional and narrative depth of Bison: Kaalamaadam.
