The Google Pixel Fold 2 is expected to come later this year. This time, it is reported that the corporation may not make the announcement during its mid-year Google I/O event in May. While the Pixel Fold was revealed at this event last year, the second-generation Pixel Fold might be released in October alongside the Pixel 9 series. However, nothing has been formally announced yet. As a result, users should treat the information with caution since the dates may be modified if Google so desires.

The Google Pixel Fold 2 might not make it to India. The first generation did not arrive to the nation, and the cause is unknown. So, the next iteration of Pixel Fold is unlikely to appear in India unless the firm reconsiders its choice for this year’s edition.

While numerous smartphone makers have launched foldable phones in India, the technology remains pricey for many, and not everyone can afford it. It will most likely take several years for businesses to make foldable technology more accessible. Companies such as Google have just entered the foldable phone industry, and the second generation is scheduled to be released this year. Because foldable phone sales are low, Google may be hesitant to debut its foldable in India.

The leaked renderings show that the upcoming version will have a small display and a form factor akin to the OnePlus Fold. We may see a smaller cover display than the 5.8-inch panel on the Pixel Fold. Under the hood, we could see Google’s own Tensor G4 processor.

The device’s back may have four camera sensors, as well as an LED flash and a microphone. The camera unit is expected to consist of a primary wide-angle sensor, a secondary ultra wide-angle camera, a tertiary periscopic telephoto sensor, and an unknown quaternary camera. If this is accurate, it will be a major advance above the Pixel Fold’s triple back camera configuration. The remaining details are yet unclear.
