Hero MotoCorp, the country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, will launch its first electric scooter, Vida V1, in Europe by the middle of the calendar year (CY) 2024. The company’s activities will begin in Spain and France, followed by the United Kingdom (UK).
Hero MotoCorp will launch its premium line of internal combustion engine (ICE) bikes and scooters in the three nations after beginning operations with the Vida V1.
While the firm has found distributors in Spain (Noria Motos), France (GD France), and the United Kingdom (Motogb), commercial agreements are still being finalized.

“With this entry into Europe with our EVs, I am sure that Hero MotoCorp will soon become known as a trusted brand in key markets in the region, similar to what it has done in other parts of the world,” he said.
At the EICMA 2023 trade show in Milan, Italy, Hero MotoCorp launched the Vida V1 Pro electric scooter for the European and UK markets on November 7. In addition, the business displayed two new ICE scooters (Xoom 125R and Xoom 160), the Concept 2.5R XTunt, the Concept Lynx (off-road electric motorbike), and the Concept Acro (electric bike for youngsters).
The Vida V1 Pro will be available in India in October 2022, featuring two replaceable batteries and flexible charging choices. Cruise control, boost mode, two-way throttle, keyless entry, and an OTA-enabled 7-inch TFT touchscreen are among the amenities available on the electric scooter.
