Hero Xtreme 125R 2026 Reaches Dealerships
The wait for the 2026 Hero Xtreme 125R is almost over! Before Hero MotoCorp even made it official, the updated Xtreme 125R has started showing up at dealerships across India. Leaked photos from showrooms give us a clear look at the refreshed design and some surprising tech upgrades.
And yes — cruise control is coming to the Xtreme 125R, making it the first sporty 125cc motorcycle in India to get this feature. That’s a big deal for a commuter-friendly yet performance-leaning bike.

Fresh Design And New Colours
The version spotted at dealerships features a green-and-grey paint combo that gives the bike a sharp, premium vibe. There’s also a red variant in the lineup for those who prefer a bolder look.
The updated Xtreme 125R doesn’t just get new paint — it gets a refreshed feature list too. Hero clearly wants this motorcycle to feel more modern and competitive in the crowded 125cc space.
Cruise Control And Tech Upgrades
Borrowing tech from the Hero Glamour X, the 2026 Xtreme 125R features a cruise control toggle on the right-hand switchgear. On the left, there are controls for the bike’s colour LCD display, which is expected to support Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and more.
Other highlights include full LED lighting all around — headlight, taillight, and indicators — plus hazard lights, auto emergency brake lights, and even a USB Type-C port for charging your devices on the go.
Engine And Performance
Underneath all the new features, the Xtreme 125R keeps the same 124.7cc single-cylinder engine, producing about 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque. It’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox, offering smooth shifts for city rides and occasional highway stretches.
The suspension setup remains familiar too — telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock for balanced comfort and stability.

Expected Launch And Rivals
While Hero hasn’t confirmed an exact launch date yet, the bike’s arrival at dealerships hints that an official debut is just around the corner. Once launched, the 2026 Hero Xtreme 125R will go up against the TVS Raider 125, Bajaj Pulsar N125, and Honda CB125 Hornet.
Given its mix of style, performance, and now cruise control, Hero seems ready to shake up the 125cc segment once again.
