IND vs AUS 2nd ODI: All Eyes on Adelaide
After a tough loss in Perth, Team India will be looking to level the series as they take on Australia in the second ODI on Thursday, October 23, at the Adelaide Oval.
Australia were ruthless in the first match, chasing down India’s modest total with ease to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Shubman Gill and his men have a lot to fix — especially their batting, which never got going on the spicy Perth track.

India Aim to Bounce Back
Rain interruptions and poor shot selection hurt India badly in the series opener. But Adelaide offers a new chance — a fresh pitch, better batting conditions, and hopefully, a stronger showing from the top order.
Shubman Gill, who’s leading the side in this series, will be eager to deliver a captain’s knock. Expect Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul to anchor the innings, while Axar Patel and Washington Sundar could play key all-round roles.
On the bowling side, Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav will need to tighten their lines after a mixed performance in Perth.
Australia Look to Seal the Series
The Aussies looked unstoppable in the first ODI. Mitchell Marsh, who’s in red-hot form, led from the front with both bat and captaincy. The pace duo of Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc made life miserable for Indian batters, extracting swing and bounce throughout.
With Adam Zampa adding the spin variety, Australia look balanced and confident heading into the second match. Another win here would give them the series before the final game.
