India will look to bounce back in the five-match T20I series when they face West Indies in the third T20I at Holkar Stadium in Indore on Sunday, October 11. After a disappointing defeat in the second match, India will be keen to improve their bowling and fielding, while West Indies will aim to carry their winning momentum into the next contest. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 PM IST, with live telecast on the Star Sports Network and online streaming on JioHotstar.
India vs West Indies 3rd T20I: Match Preview
The second T20I turned into a run-fest, with both teams combining for a staggering 501 runs. India posted a massive 249, but West Indies successfully chased down the target of 250 to secure a six-wicket victory. The result exposed India’s bowling concerns and gave the visitors a significant boost ahead of the third match.
India’s bowlers will need to execute their plans better, particularly during the middle and death overs. Fielding could also prove crucial, as missed chances in the previous game allowed West Indies to build match-winning partnerships.
Sherfane Rutherford made India pay after being dropped on 38, going on to score 84 off 37 balls. His partnership with captain Shai Hope proved decisive in the successful chase and underlined the Caribbean side’s ability to capitalise on batting-friendly conditions.
