iQOO 15 Launch Date Revealed
iQOO has officially confirmed the launch date of its next flagship, the iQOO 15, and it’s arriving sooner than expected. The smartphone will make its debut in China on October 20 at 7 PM local time (4:30 PM IST).
This will be the brand’s first phone powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, marking a big performance jump from its predecessor, the iQOO 13. While the China launch happens in October, the India release is expected in November or December 2025.
A Bold New Look in Four Colours
iQOO seems to be mixing style with substance this time. The iQOO 15 will come in four eye-catching colours — black, green, white, and a dual-tone orange-white option with a wavy, cloud-like pattern.
The back panel features a square-shaped camera island with rounded edges and a metallic frame. The overall design feels premium yet distinct, standing out from the typical glossy slabs we’ve seen lately.

Top-End Performance and Hardware
This isn’t just another flagship — the iQOO 15 is shaping up to be a powerhouse. Alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the device will also pack a proprietary Q3 chip for enhanced gaming and display performance.
It’s confirmed to have IP68 and IP69 ratings, meaning it’s resistant to dust, water, and even high-pressure sprays — a rare combo in smartphones.
Another exciting addition is the 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which promises faster unlocking, even if your hands are wet.
Cameras and Display That Impress
The iQOO 15 is expected to sport a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens capable of up to 100x digital zoom.
On the front, a 6.85-inch 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate will deliver smooth visuals for gaming and multimedia.
Battery, Charging, and Smart Power Tech
Powering all this is a rumored 7000mAh+ battery, with 100W wired fast charging and wireless charging support.
There’s also talk of a new feature called Global Direct Drive Power Supply 2.0, said to improve battery efficiency and lifespan — something power users will definitely appreciate.
