As soon as the trailer for the next Ramayana-based film Adipurush was released, Kriti Sanon 2020 tweet regarding JNU violence became viral on social media.

Kriti Sanon, who is portraying Mata Sita in the upcoming Ramayana-based movie Adipurush, was criticized on October 3, for a tweet she had made in January 2020 about the violence at JNU during anti-CAA demonstrations. She had denounced a “attack on JNU teachers and students” at the time in a tweet.

Kriti’s tweet says, “It breaks my heart to see what happened at JNU! What’s going on in India is horrifying!! Students & teachers are being beaten up & terrorized by masked cowards!! The constant blame game! Stooping so low for political agendas! Violence is NEVER a solution! How have we become so inhuman?”

She had earlier stated, in a video statement to the media, “Right now, to be very honest, whatever is happening in general, it really saddens me because there is so much violence, which is not a solution to anything. I believe that using violence will not benefit us in any way.

I refer to having a polite discussion about the subject. People must be given a voice. The students were protesting, and I believe it is our right to do so in a silent manner. Therefore, those who are protesting should speak with the government. They must express their viewpoint. Right now, the violence must be reined in. As the secular nation of India that we are, we must all band together. Solve the problem by having the talk as adults.

Hari Nandan said, “Kriti Sanon is clueless. No wonder what a pathetic picture she has chosen where they are not even aware how to do costumes, and everyone looks like a Mughal.”

Release date of Adipurush
