According to box office tracker Sacnilk, the film collected about ₹155.84 crore in India and a whopping ₹302.11 crore worldwide. That’s massive for a regional film, putting it in the same league as pan-India blockbusters.
Producer Dulquer Salmaan said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India that the film’s response was beyond expectations. “It’s proof that audiences today are open to new storytelling and different languages. People watched it on day one, made reels, shared reviews — it was surreal,” he said.
