Kinetic Green will introduce the e-Luna, an electric version of the iconic Luna moped, to India on February 7. Bookings for the e-Luna started on January 26 with a nominal fee of Rs 500.

While the e-Luna’s technical parameters have not yet been revealed, we expect it to have a peak speed of 50kmph and a range of 110km.

Kinetic will use the e-Luna to target clients not just in major cities, but also in Tier 2 and 3 cities and rural regions.
The Kinetic e-Luna is projected to be priced about Rs 70,000 (ex-showroom). It does not have any direct electric competitors in the marketplace.
Kinetic debuted the Zulu electric scooter in India this month, with a starting price of Rs 94,990 (ex showroom).
