The Vivo X100 Pro, along with the Vivo X100 and Vivo Watch 3, will be available in China today, November 13. Vivo has released official pictures of the Vivo X100 Pro ahead of the launch event, showing off its design and color possibilities. The renderings depict a circular camera island with a four-camera arrangement and flash.
The Vivo X100 Pro already includes a verified MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, Zeiss-branded cameras, and a V2 Imaging chip. The Dimensity 9300 is MediaTek’s most recent and powerful flagship processor, and the Zeiss-branded cameras indicate that the Vivo X100 Pro will provide exceptional image quality. Vivo’s own in-house imaging technology, the V2 Imaging chip, is projected to boost the camera performance of the Vivo X100 Pro.
Price and availability of the Vivo X100 Pro in India
The Vivo X100 Pro will be on sale in China tonight at 7:00 p.m. (4.30 p.m. IST). While no formal announcements have been made, Vivo is likely to launch in India and other global markets soon.
According to reports, the Vivo X100 Pro’s base model would cost CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 45,600). Given that the basic Vivo X90 was introduced in India for Rs 59,999 and the Pro version costs Rs 84,999, the predicted pricing in India is slightly higher.
Vivo X100 Pro’s expected specs and features
The first official photographs of the Vivo X100 Pro have been posted ahead of its debut. The photos show four different color options: black, blue, white, and orange. The blue version features white parts inspired by star trails, while the orange version looks to have a leather back. A huge camera island with four Zeiss-branded sensors and an LED flash is also included on the phone.
In terms of performance, the Vivo X100 Pro is projected to outperform the Vivo X90 Pro. The Vivo X100 series is said to have a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2800—1260 pixels, providing a high-quality visual experience.
In terms of performance, the Vivo X100 series is expected to be the first in the world to use Low Power Double Data Rate 5 Turbo (LPDDR5T), a technology that is touted to be 13% quicker than the LPDDR5X DRAM present in current flagship handsets.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC is expected to power the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is expected to power the X100 Pro+ variant, providing solid performance across the lineup.
The camera arrangement is a centerpiece of the X100 series, with the Vivo X100 sporting a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 64MP periscope lens with 3X optical zoom and 100X digital zoom. According to rumors, the X100 Pro will include a 50MP Sony IMX989 primary sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera sensor, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto sensor. Meanwhile, the 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor, 50MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait sensor, and a 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor telephoto periscope camera with 10x magnification are likely to boost the shooting experience.
The Vivo X100 series is expected to include a 32MP front-facing camera. The phones are expected to ship with an Android 14-based Funtouch OS custom skin that provides a user-friendly and feature-rich interface.
In terms of power, the Vivo X100 is said to include a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. The Pro model is rumored to include a bigger 5,400mAh battery, 120W fast charging, and 50W wireless charging compatibility.
