Many social media users chastised the Pakistani sports pundit for prior remarks against India and the Hindu population. Many of them agreed with the choice.

Zainab Abbas was supposed to cover the ICC World Cup in India in 2023. However, she was allegedly ejected from the nation before of Pakistan’s match against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad. Her previous remarks against India and Hindus looked to be the catalyst for her expulsion.

There is no official word on whether she was deported from India or fled on her own. A lawyer recently filed a complaint against Zainab Abbas, accusing her of making insulting statements towards the Hindu community and India on social media.

When the news broke, social media was swamped with varied emotions. Some people praised the decision, while others criticized ICC.

“Zainab Abbas has been deported.” “When will Waqar Younis be @BCCI @JayShah?” one user on X, previously Twitter, tweeted.

Aside from comments directed at Zainab Abbas, several netizens condemned the ICC for her expulsion. Many others tweeted in support of the Pakistani pundit.
