“Everything is good. Voting is going on smoothly. I have cast my vote,” he said, reflecting a calm polling atmosphere.

The elections in West Bengal are being conducted across all 294 Assembly constituencies, with 1,478 candidates in the fray.
According to the Election Commission of India, polling is taking place in two phases. The counting of votes is scheduled for May 4.
