A CCTV video shows Aaftab Amin Poonawala, the man accused of the savage murder of Shraddha Walkar, carrying a bag early last month (October 18), has gone viral, with cops suspecting he was carrying Walkar’s body parts. The hazy video shows a man traveling along a dark street with a backpack and a packed package. Despite the fact that it is difficult to see his face, police officials have alleged that he is Poonawala.

This is the first visual CCTV footage that has come to light in the terrible murder case.

Several details have emerged in the investigation of Shraddha Walkar’s murder case, the most recent being Walkar’s claimed 2020 talks with a colleague in which she described her suffering after being beaten up by Aaftab.

Photos of Walkar from 2020 that clearly showed signs of injury also surfaced on social media.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Delhi police dispatched various teams to Mumbai, Gurgaon, and Himachal Pradesh, where Poonawala and Walkar lived together, to piece together the events that led to her heinous murder.

According to PTI, police collected several body parts from Gurugram a day ago, which will be sent for forensic analysis. The victim’s head is still missing.

Police have also stated that they seized a sharp item from Poonawala’s home. It will be inspected to see if it was used to sever Walkar’s body.

The crime was committed six months ago but was only recently found. During a heated disagreement, Aaftab choked his live-in lover Walker and stored the cut body pieces in a 300-litre fridge so that he could dispose of the body parts at night in surrounding woodland regions without arousing suspicion. It is also thought that after murdering his partner Walkar, he burned her face to conceal her identity.
