Shopping on Flipkart could now do more than just save you money—it can also unlock a free Netflix subscription. Starting August 1, Flipkart has partnered with Netflix to offer a complimentary Netflix Mobile Plan to eligible Flipkart Plus members. The new loyalty benefit lets customers enjoy Netflix every month without paying separately, as long as they meet a simple shopping requirement.
Flipkart Plus Members Can Unlock Netflix for Free
Under the new offer, Flipkart Plus members need to complete four eligible orders worth at least Rs 299 each within a single calendar month. These purchases can be made across Flipkart, Flipkart Grocery, or Flipkart Minutes.
Once the fourth qualifying order is placed, the user becomes eligible to activate a 30-day Netflix Mobile Plan directly through the Flipkart app at no extra cost.
The subscription remains valid for one month. To continue enjoying Netflix in the following month, members must once again complete four eligible purchases during that calendar month.

Who Is Eligible?
The offer is available exclusively to Flipkart Plus members.
Customers who are not yet part of the loyalty programme don’t need to pay any membership fee. Instead, they can become Flipkart Plus members by completing 15 orders within 12 months, after which they can start accessing Plus benefits, including the new Netflix offer if they meet the monthly purchase criteria.
How to Claim the Free Netflix Subscription
Claiming the benefit is straightforward:
- Become a Flipkart Plus member.
- Place four eligible orders of at least Rs 299 each in one calendar month.
- Orders can be placed through Flipkart, Flipkart Grocery, or Flipkart Minutes.
- After the fourth qualifying order, activate the 30-day Netflix Mobile Plan from the Flipkart app.
- Repeat the purchase requirement every month to keep receiving the benefit.
Netflix’s First E-Commerce Partnership in India

Ravi Iyer, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Flipkart, said the company wanted to reward customers for their regular shopping habits by adding entertainment benefits to the Flipkart Plus programme.
Laurent Uguen, Vice President, APAC Partnerships – Business Development at Netflix, said the partnership is aimed at making Netflix more accessible to Indian users by integrating it into customers’ everyday shopping experience.
What Does the Netflix Mobile Plan Include?
Customers who unlock the benefit will receive access to Netflix’s Mobile Plan, allowing them to stream a wide collection of Indian and international movies, web series, documentaries and Netflix Originals on a compatible mobile device.
While the plan is designed for mobile viewing, it gives users access to the same popular Netflix library available under the Mobile subscription tier.
