OnePlus 11 5G Official Stable Oxygen OS 14 Update: Now Avaialble In India with, Smart Cutout, Go Green AOD, More

In India, the OnePlus 11 5G has begun receiving the OxygenOS 14 stable upgrade based on Android 14. The update improves the OnePlus handset’s Aquamorphic design, anamorphic-themed ringtones, File Dock functionality, and Smart Cutout, as well as various speed enhancements. The update improves picture and video permission management for safer app access, as well as system reliability. In February of this year, OnePlus 11 was released in India. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and has a 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate.

According to an official post on the OnePlus forum, the stable Android 14 upgrade for the OnePlus 11 5G devices has begun rolling out in India. In the country, eligible units are receiving the firmware upgrade CPH2447_14.0.0.201 (EX01).

Changelog for the OnePlus 11 5G OxygenOS 14 upgrade

The Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 features an Aquamorphic design with Fluid Cloud, which displays all current data at a glance. It now includes cross-device functionality, allowing users to rapidly check the connectivity status of devices on their account. OnePlus has included Aquamorphic-themed ringtones with the upgrade, as well as updated the system notification noises.

The OnePlus 11 5G OxygenOS 14 upgrade also includes a new File Dock that allows users to drag and drop material across apps and devices. The Content Extraction tool recognizes and extracts text and pictures from the screen, whilst the Smart Cutout feature separates various topics in a photograph from the backdrop for copying or sharing.

The update improves the Shelf by including additional widget recommendations. It also improves picture and video permission management to prevent applications from exploiting media access. Furthermore, overall system stability has been improved. The update features a carbon monitoring Always-On Display that shows how taking more steps may result in lower carbon emissions.

According to screenshots given by numerous users, the update is around 860MB in size. 5GB of free storage space is required for the download. The OxygenOS 14 update is available for handsets running firmware version CPH2447_13.1.0596(EX01) or CPH2447_13.1.0595(EX01). Before beginning the upgrade procedure, OnePlus recommended that customers verify their smartphone has a battery charge of at least 30%.

The update will be sent out in stages and will be available over the air to all compatible OnePlus 11 devices. Users who are interested can manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System updates. Users should update their devices when they are charged and connected to a strong Wi-Fi connection.

The OnePlus 11 5G was released in India in February for Rs. 56,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant and Rs. 61,999 for the 16GB + 256GB storage model. The phone has a 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ (1,440×3,216 pixel) 10-bit LTPO 3.0 AMOLED screen with a dynamic refresh rate of zero to 120Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and sports a 50-megapixel back camera as well as a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC rapid charging capabilities.
