An explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe Bangalore startled everyone. The latest information reports that an explosion has injured nine people. Two injured people are the employees of the cafe, and the seven are the customers, including one woman. However, the exact number of disabled people is not yet confirmed by the Police.
The Police now secure the area. After the explosion, A team of anti-terror National Investigation Agency, Bomb Squad, Forensic team, Police, and sniffer dogs reached to the cafe.
What led to the Rameshwaram Cafe Explosion?
According to some reports, the Rameshwaram cafe blast happened because of an object placed in a bag. CCTV footage shows a normal busy lunchtime and a man placing a bag in the cafe. After the explosion, several people ran to save his life, and one woman was lying on the floor.
Police and forensic teams try to find the exact reason for the explosion and collect evidence. It may not be a cylinder blast because there is no fire after the explosion.
Rameshwaram Cafe founder “Sri Nagaraj” informed us that this blast occurred because of a bag left by a customer, and all the cylinders were safe inside the kitchen.
Injured People in Rameshwaram Cafe Blast
Injured people rushed to the hospital and treated in the Brookfield hospital. They are now out of danger, according to the Karnataka Police Chief. This incident occurred at 1:30 pm on Friday. Many people from the St office are at the cafe during the lunch hour.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said On CCTV, a man was spotted placing a bag in the cafe. An improvised explosive device (IED) was used in the blast, he added.
