Bangladesh Women will face India Women in the third ODI of the India Women Tour of Bangladesh on July 22 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. So far in the series, the sides have played two one-day internationals (ODIs), with India and Bangladesh each winning one. Both sides will be hoping to win this match and hence win the series.
The previous encounter between these two sides was held at the same site, where Bangladesh Women won the toss and chose to bowl. India began carefully on a slow and twisting track. Smriti Mandhana looked excellent on the crease, but she couldn’t last long. After she fell, the command went to Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur, and boy, did they play brilliantly. They both reached their fifties, although Jemimah fell short of her well-deserved century. India Women managed to score a respectable total of 228 runs.

Bangladesh would have hoped to replicate their batting performance from their last game, but they were unable to do so. They were 2 for 14 when Fargana Hoque arrived at the crease and stabilized their ship. She batted calmly for 47 runs, and it appeared that Bangladesh might be able to cross the line. Devika Vaidya, who was on a roll, broke the partnership, and the entire batting lineup was blown away like a house of cards. India Women recovered from being three for 106 to being all-out for 120 runs to win the match by a massive margin of 108 runs.

PITCH REPORT
Bowlers will benefit from the pitch at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Spinners may be quite useful in the game since they remove certain twists and bounce from the course. Batters who can neutralize spin have a better chance of scoring big on this ground. Teams who win the toss chose to bowl first, with a first innings total of 136 on average.
