Thane: On Friday, two separate incidences involving three armed individuals shooting persons over financial disagreements resulted in one man dying and another receiving a left chest damage.
Twelve hours after the event, the police detained the three men who were aiding the other two in committing the crime by providing them rides in his auto rickshaw, Bipin Mishra, 38, Saurav Shinde, 27, and Suraj Mehera, 27, as well as their accomplice S Vatkar.
Thane: First Incident
The first incident was reported at 5:15 a.m. on Ghantali Road, where three armed men entered Mahesh Mane’s store from Om Sai Property and began wrecking his Maruti Suzuki Ertiga over money issues. Ashwin Gamre, a 26-year-old employee of Mane’s, and others emerged after hearing the ruckus and enquired as to why they were damaging their employer’s vehicle.
When Gamre and other people began beating the three men, the disagreement got physical. The men then split up and returned carrying a rifle. On Mane’s employees, they began firing in the open. Ashwin Gamre, who was wounded by a bullet to his left chest in the event, is now healing in the Kalwa Hospital.
Second Incident
In the second incident, three men shot a habitual offender named Kala Ganya, also known as Ganesh Jadhav, in the head while he was standing near Mama Bhanja Hills within the jurisdiction of Vartak Nagar police station. He was taken to Vedant Hospital in Thane, where he was pronounced dead in the late afternoon.

Police Said This
Morale, a second police crime commissioner, stated: “Mane was friends with the persons who broke his car, and Kala Ganya, the victim in the second incident, was also close with the men. However, because of financial theft, these suspects first damaged Mane’s automobile before shooting his colleagues and running away. After meeting Kalya Ganya in Vartak Nagar, the group brought him to the Yeoor Jungle around 10 am and shot him as well over a disagreement over money. Because Ganya was shot in the head, he was taken seriously and was pronounced dead late at night.
According to the police, the shop owner Mane, the accused Bipin Mishra, and the deceased Kalya Ganya were business partners. Kalya Ganya was just released on bail and has 27 complaints filed against him in various police stations. In contrast, Mane entered politics, which increased his popularity. Because both of these individuals kept Bipin out of the spotlight for a while. So Bipin made the decision to threaten Mane and killed Kalya Ganya in retaliation.
