Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G Render Leak: Slimmer Design, Boxy Look Gone

A first look at Samsung’s 2025 flagship

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G is still a few months away, but leaks are already giving us a sneak peek at what’s coming. The latest renders, shared by Android Headlines and tipster OnLeaks, show a design shift that could make the new Ultra slimmer and sleeker compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

And yes—it looks like Samsung might finally ditch the boxy edges.

The leaked design: what’s different?

From the renders, the Galaxy S26 Ultra keeps the flat-panel look but softens it with curvier edges. The camera setup has also been reworked: three lenses are packed into a single island, while the fourth sensor and LED flash sit outside it on the right.

Other familiar elements are still here—the S Pen slot, USB-C port, and SIM tray at the bottom, along with the power and volume buttons on the right. The bezels look thinner, and the selfie camera remains tucked into the front display.

Expected specs and upgrades

Leaks suggest Samsung will pack the Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G with either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or the in-house Exynos 2600, depending on the region. Camera fans can expect big numbers too—a 200MP main lens, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP periscope telephoto (5x zoom), and an improved 12MP telephoto (3x zoom).

Battery life will likely stay the same at 5000mAh, but charging speed could jump to 65W, finally giving Ultra users quicker top-ups.

Why this leak matters

Samsung’s Ultra lineup is always a hot topic because it sets the tone for Android flagships. Even small design tweaks—like slimmer bezels or a new camera island—end up shaping what other brands chase. With the S26 Ultra, it feels like Samsung is trying to balance familiarity with a fresher, more refined look.

The bottom line

The Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G is still months away from launch, but these renders give us the best idea yet of where Samsung is headed. If the leaks hold true, we’re looking at a sleeker design, powerful camera system, and faster charging.

Stay tuned—we’ll keep updating you as more concrete details roll in.
