Morocco earthquake news: According to the country’s Interior Ministry, a massive earthquake that rocked Morocco late Friday night killed at least 296 people, as reported by the Associated Press.
Citizens shared footage of houses reduced to rubble and dust, as well as damage to the famed red walls that surround medieval Marrakech, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tourists in the city also shared videos of people shouting and fleeing eateries.
