British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has stated that he is a “proud Hindu” during his three-day tour to India to attend the 18th G20 Summit. During his three-day tour to India, he also planned to visit several of the temples.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who is in India for three days to attend the 18th G20 Summit, told news agency ANI that he is a “proud Hindu.”
Rishi Sunak expressed his desire to see some of India’s temples during his brief visit to the nation in an interview with the news agency ANI.
“I’m a proud Hindu who was raised that way.” That’s the way I am. “Hopefully, I’ll be able to visit a Mandir while I’m here for the next few days,” he told ANI.
When asked about Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami, Rishi Sunak said, “We just had Raksha Bandhan, so I have all my rakhis from my sister and cousins, and I didn’t have time to properly celebrate Janmashtami the other day.” But perhaps, if we go to a Mandir this time, I’ll make up for it.”
“I believe that faith benefits everyone who has faith in their lives, especially when you have stressful jobs like mine.” “Having faith to give you resilience and strength is important,” Rishi Sunak continued.
INDIA VISIT OF RISHI SUNAK
On Friday, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty arrived at New Delhi’s Palam Airport, where they were greeted with a “Jai Siya Ram” by Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey.
Ashwini Kumar Choubey also sent Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty Rudraksh, a copy of the Bhagavad Geeta, and the Hanuman Chalisa.

On his three-day tour to India, Rishi Sunak will also meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a bilateral meeting.
