If you’ve been eyeing a Harley-Davidson in India, here’s some news that might sting a little. Under the new GST regime, Harley-Davidson has quietly bumped up prices across most of its line-up—by as much as ₹3.45 lakh on certain models. The only saving grace? The entry-level Harley-Davidson X440 stays untouched at its old price of ₹2.39 lakh.
What Changed with GST?
The new GST 2.0 structure has flipped the script for bikers in India. While sub-350cc motorcycles are now cheaper, the bigger, premium machines have gone the other way. And since Harley-Davidson lives mostly in that premium category, most of its models now carry a heftier price tag.

Harley-Davidson’s New Price List in India
Here’s how much extra you’ll have to shell out after the revision:
- Street Glide: ₹42.50 lakh (up from ₹39.30 lakh)
- Road Glide: ₹45.75 lakh (up from ₹42.30 lakh)
- Street Bob: ₹20.23 lakh (up from ₹18.77 lakh)
- Breakout: ₹34.36 lakh (up from ₹31.79 lakh)
- Fat Boy: ₹28.03 lakh (up from ₹25.90 lakh)
- Heritage Classic: ₹25.71 lakh (up from ₹23.85 lakh)
- Pan America 1250 Special: ₹27.16 lakh (up from ₹25.10 lakh)
- Nightster: ₹14.54 lakh (up from ₹13.51 lakh)
- Nightster Special: ₹15.38 lakh (up from ₹14.29 lakh)
- Sportster S: ₹18.50 lakh (up from ₹16.70 lakh)
The Big Picture
For Harley fans, this is bittersweet. On one hand, the X440 remains an affordable way to join the Harley family. On the other, the big touring bikes—like the Street Glide and Road Glide—have both crossed the ₹40 lakh mark, making them more expensive than ever.
Middleweights like the Nightster, Nightster Special, and Sportster S have also crept up by ₹1–1.8 lakh. Even the Pan America 1250 Special, Harley’s go-anywhere adventure bike, now costs over ₹2 lakh more.

Why It Matters
The hikes highlight a growing gap in the market: while mass-market bikes are getting cheaper, premium motorcycles are becoming luxury purchases. That’s not great news if you’ve been saving up for a Harley, but it does underline just how much India’s tax structure shapes the two-wheeler industry.
