Royal Enfield fans, here’s the latest update you might not be too happy about. With the revised GST rates kicking in for motorcycles above 350cc, prices of Royal Enfield’s 450cc and 650cc models have gone up—by as much as ₹29,486.
While the smaller bikes (under 350cc) actually got a price cut of up to ₹22,000, the bigger engines weren’t so lucky. The 450cc and 650cc range now come with a price bump of up to ₹29,486, effective September 22, 2025.

Royal Enfield 450cc Range: What’s New?
- Scram 440: Sees a hike of up to ₹15,641. New price: ₹2.23–2.31 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Guerrilla 450: Gets dearer by up to ₹18,479. Now priced between ₹2.56–2.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Himalayan 450: The adventure bike now starts at ₹3.05 lakh, going up to ₹3.20 lakh. That’s an increase of up to ₹21,682.

Royal Enfield 650cc Range: Big Hikes for Big Twins
- Interceptor 650: Now pricier by up to ₹23,861, starting at ₹3.32 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Continental GT 650: Gets an even bigger bump of up to ₹25,645, with the top Mr Clean variant at ₹3.78 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Classic 650: Starts at ₹3.61 lakh, with the top-spec Black Chrome version at ₹3.75 lakh (up by ₹25,607).
- Shotgun 650: Becomes costlier by up to ₹27,889, now priced between ₹3.94–4.09 lakh.
- Bear 650: Top-spec Two Four Nine variant now at ₹3.94 lakh, with an increment of up to ₹26,841.
- Super Meteor 650: The biggest hike of them all—up to ₹29,486. Price now ranges from ₹3.98–4.32 lakh (ex-showroom).

What This Means for Buyers
In short, if you were planning to get a Royal Enfield 450cc or 650cc, you’ll now have to shell out an extra 15–30k depending on the model. That said, the smaller REs under 350cc are now cheaper, so budget buyers get some relief.
Royal Enfield hasn’t made any changes to features or hardware—the price hike is purely a result of the GST revision on motorcycles above 350cc.
