Automobili Lamborghini sold more than 10,000 cars in a calendar year for the first time in history in 2023, representing a 10% year-on-year increase.
In 2023, the Italian brand will also mark its 60th anniversary.
While the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) area contributed the most to the volume (3,987 units), the business sold 3,465 units in the Americas and 2,660 units in Asia-Pacific.
Sales in the EMEA area grew by 14% year on year in 2023. Volume increased by 9% year on year in the Americas and 4% year on year in the Asia Pacific area.
The United States of America remained the top market with 3,000 cars delivered, followed by Germany (961 cars), the United Kingdom (801 cars), China (845 cars), Japan (660 cars), the Middle East (496 cars), Canada (357 cars), South Korea (434 cars), Italy (409 cars), Australia (263 cars), France and Monaco (255 cars), Switzerland (211 cars), Taiwan (131 cars), and India (103 cars).
In terms of model split, the Urus maintained its lead with 6,087 units, followed by the Huracan at 3,962 units. In addition, 63 V12-powered vehicles were delivered, including the final 12 Aventadors and 51 limited editions.
Lamborghini introduced the Revuelto, the first V12 high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports car, in 2023, and orders have already been placed for manufacture until late 2026.
In addition, the business presented the Lamborghini Lanzador concept vehicle and introduced the Lamborghini SC63, an LMDh category racing car that will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship in 2024.
